In step with our vision of leading peoples near and far to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ, Young Nak English Ministry has partnered with Toronto City Mission in reaching out to and bringing the gospel to the urban poor in our city. The 2 sites we are currently involved in are Willowtree and St. James Town. Recently (in 2008), as our involvement in St. James Town grew deeper, we heard God’s call to start a Filipino church plant in the area. Our goal is to see a self-sustaining independent Filipino church community established in the St. James Town neighborhood of Toronto.

As a member of our church, you can be engaged in one or more ways:

• By praying and donating finances
• By volunteering your time once a week to tutor a student at either Willowtree or St. James Town locations
• By becoming a leader with the AWANA children’s program in St. James Town once a week
• By joining our summer Short Term missions teams to TCM’s Sonshine Day Camps
• By volunteering your time/talent/resources to help directly with the church plant in St. James Town
